Donations currently support the first public Origin Circles in Chicago parks and community spaces.
The immediate focus is simple: create safe, visible, low-cost spaces where people can play, reflect, connect,
and remember what the body already knows.
Donation Goals
Every donation helps move Origin Arenas from idea into living practice.
Current Goal: $500 — Public Circle Launch Kit
Rope boundaries, signs, printed cards, stones, basic first-aid supplies, water, simple play materials, and QR-code outreach tools for public park circles.
$1,000 — First Month of Origin Circles
Supports multiple public play circles across Chicago, printed outreach materials, transportation, replacement supplies, simple game equipment, website/outreach costs, and basic park application or permit fees where needed.
$2,500 — Community Pilot Fund
Helps cover permits, space rentals, equipment, insurance exploration, facilitator materials, and the first structured Origin Arena pilot with RSVP participants.
$5,000 — Partnership and Safety Buildout
Supports formal program materials, youth-safety protocols, partner outreach, improved website and social media tools, event documentation, and preparation for larger community partnerships.
$50,000 — First Indoor Arena Fund
Allows The Arena to pursue a small leased space for consistent weekly or daily Origin Arenas, including deposit, initial rent, insurance, basic buildout, mats, storage, signs, safety supplies, utilities, and operating runway.
$500,000 — Full Pilot Arena Buildout
Funds the first serious pilot facility, with dedicated areas for circles, movement, safe combat/play, music, art, workshops, storage, bathrooms/amenities, accessibility needs, insurance, staff, documentation, and a full year of operations.
These are working estimates, not final budgets. Actual costs will depend on location, permits, insurance, rent, donated space, partnerships, staffing, and community support.
The goal is simple:
build more spaces that connect the people of Chicago and beyond.
Circle. Play. Witness. Truth.
